Scott is blessed to have an amazing and loving family. He and his wife, Teri, have been married for 33 wonderful years. They have two, beautiful daughters who live in the area. Morgan is 31 and Madison (Maddie) is 25. Scott grew up in New Jersey, went to William & Mary, and has lived in the Richmond area his adult life. He loves to play golf and serve the church and his community.
Scott is pleased to report that he has entered the retirement phase of his professional life this spring, after a rewarding career in the Financial Services industry. He spent the first half of his career with the Life Insurance Company of Virginia/GE Financial Assurance/Genworth. Then he joined Capital One and ended his professional career with a short stint at a local financial industry consultancy.
Scott and his wife have been members at Hope Church for about 13 years. His spiritual growth efforts include several specific endeavors: leading and participating in small groups at HOPE, serving on HOPE’s Disaster Response team, and co-leading the Goochland chapter of Jobs for Life, a nonprofit, biblically based program that gives unemployed/underemployed people the skills, tools, and confidence to find a new job and build a career. Scott looks forward to expanding his community service work in retirement.
