I am a retired business professional, wife of 43 years and doting grandmother. I have a lifelong passion for organizing (people, places and experiences) and helping others connect their God-given gifts and talents with opportunities and activities that help bring the Kingdom to others. My husband Rich and I accepted Christ as our Lord and Savior together in 1984, and since that time have been pursuing an ever-closer relationship with Jesus through Bible study, Christian community, attending worship regularly, trust and faith in Him. Our two sons and their wives are also committed Christians, living in the Richmond area and between them we have 9 grandchildren. We all serve in our local churches as well as in area ministries. I have led and participated in numerous short-term mission trips, and it’s been my privilege to see God work in the lives of many young people as they have gone on to become full-time missionaries and leaders in their own churches. I graduated from Michigan State University, and have enjoyed a diverse career in retail, entertainment and faith-based organizations. I’ve held positions in operations, finance, and administration, however most of my professional career has been spent in Human Resources. I love to read, hike, and travel to see God’s creation throughout the world. I continue to pursue God’s call in the current season of my life, whether it be leveraging my business experience to help organizations, leading small group Bible studies, volunteering at Hope Thrift or praying with grandkids. And sometimes His call simply means being still and knowing He is God.
