What is your role at HOPE, in your own words?
I coordinate and oversee HOPE’s expansion efforts, along with any resulting projects. I also support and bring structure to other ongoing efforts at HOPE.
What’s your favorite verse/passage of scripture and why?
Psalm 37:4 “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” I take peace in knowing that as I find my joy in God, He will guide my heart in desiring the things that will ultimately glorify Him!
What year did you start coming to HOPE? Working at HOPE?
I started coming to HOPE in 2018 and working at HOPE in 2025.
What’s something that brings you joy?
I love finding joy in the everyday moments – evening walks with my family, reading a good book, baking bread, and playing with my kids!
What’s your go-to comfort food or coffee order?
My go-to coffee order is a whole milk latte – hot or iced depending on the season!
If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
Playing the piano! If only I had listened to my mom and didn’t stop taking lessons as a child…
What’s something people might not know about you?
I was on a church planting team in Egypt for a year after college, where I also learned how to speak (very basic) Arabic!
