What is your role at HOPE?
I have the privilege of serving alongside members of the HOPE community to cultivate a culture of generosity here at HOPE that overflows to our local and global mission partners, and to educate and empower those seeking to grow in the area of stewardship as it pertains to their faith journey.

University of Richmond – Go Spiders!
What year did you start coming to HOPE? Start working at HOPE?
I first attended HOPE as a college freshman in 1999 when it was meeting at Godwin High School, but moved away after college. I returned to Richmond (and HOPE!) in 2013 with my family, and came on staff in March of 2025.
What sports team do you root for?
Richmond Spiders, Virgina Tech Hokies (for my husband 🙂
If you could be on a reality TV show, which one would you choose and why?
I don’t know of any currently airing that I’d enjoy, but any of the old HGTV reality shows would have been fun – think Flea Market Flip or Trading Spaces – anything that allows me to get creative with furniture or decorating!
If you could pick up a new skill in an instant, what would it be?
I’ve always wanted to be able to play an instrument – either the piano or guitar.
What’s one food you could eat every day of your life? What’s one food you can’t stand?
Tacos! I dislike anything with melon or melon flavored.
What 2-3 fictional characters would you be a combination of?
Dorothy (Wizard of Oz) – because I love going on adventures and meeting new people :-), Belle (Beauty and the Beast) because I love to read, and Mary Lennox (The Secret Garden), because, like she, I love gardening and discovering the beauty in nature.
What is one favorite verse/passage of scripture?
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 – “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
