The HCML is a community of Christian leaders committed to cultivating and commissioning future missional leaders to fulfill Christ’s calling. The HCML is embedded in the life of Hope Church, in Richmond, Virginia. It is one program with two tracks: The GreenHouse – for post-college students seeking to be formed by Christ in a season of transition; and Residency – for people who sense a call to church, parachurch, or missional ministry in various forms.
The Experience
Whether on the GreenHouse or Residency track, the typical week for a participant includes lots of time with each other, home life with a host family, real meaningful work in ministry, and many gatherings for spiritual input and training.
The Result
The time that participants spend in the HCML will have an impact on the eighty years that follow. We look to train participants in a philosophy of ministry that is founded on biblical principles of discipleship.
