Foster care and Adoption Support Team (FAST)

The Foster Care and Adoption Support Team (FAST) seeks to engage the Church in meeting the needs of the foster care community in the Greater Richmond area. FAST will promote healthier family legacies through a variety of opportunities to serve children in foster care, youth who aged out of foster care, foster/kinship/adoptive families, biological families working toward reunification, and social workers in a multitude of ways.

If you’re interested in being involved in this work but don’t know how to start, we invite you to come learn what your “something” can be, as this group is for anyone interested in helping this population.

Please note that this group does not meet regularly. We communicate and connect as a group through email as we hear of needs and opportunities to serve. Also, If you are a foster, adoptive, or kinship family and need extra support, please join the group and reach out! We would love to walk alongside you and explore ways in which we can care for you and your growing family.
